Howdy,

I'm still in my first week of SOM with a 70s team. We are 5-7 and I'm perplexed by all our 1-run losses.
My Mules have played 12 games, with 5 of them being 1-run games. We've lost 4 of them. I'm sure that with time and some patience, the dice will smile on my team. In one game, we lost 3-2 and out-hit the other team 11-3!
Can any of you relate? Let's hear some insight and stories about your experiences with "hard luck".( Don't misunderstand me: I think SOM is fun and challenging. I'm learning from my losses.)

PS: We're in last place, scored 61 runs and allowed 53, while the 1st place team in our division has scored 61 and allowed 66! IMHO, SOM is a realistic game; sometimes baseball is just like life. ;)
