I agree.
Nothing against Doc, but this is one of or perhaps my biggest pet peeve. That's signing up for a league, but not being prepared to load a team.
I do several theme/organized leagues, probably more than anyone in the community. I see this time after time. People anxious to get their name down, then when it comes time to draft or load a team they are a no-show.
It's my opinion it goes hand-in-hand. By signing up, by putting your name down, you're saying, 'I'm going to be ready to do whatever this league requires of me."
Again, I'm not taking a shot at Doc here. I'm venting for a whole lot of frustration built up from this kind of thing happening almost league after league.
It's only a few, but it only takes 1 or 2 bad apples. Almost everybody that plays in my leagues are Vets whom I've come to know thru Strat and are great guys. It's alomost always that 'newcomer' the guy playing in his first theme league that wants to get his feet wet, or something like that.
Sorry for venting here, I almost started a whole topic on this yesterday but didn't want Doc to think I was picking on him. Or, raise my BP, lol. Like Viz said, Doc wouldn't have minded, he said so himself in that message I got.
Anywho, thanks for lending an ear.
