2nd Annual Las Vegas ATG Tournament--June 23rd & 24th update

Don't buy anything yet for this tournament.....Let's see where we stand in number of people coming with laptops that will have the version 10 loaded. I think we have 7-8 laptops with a central one last time. Doug's (penngray) was the central laptop that networked all the laptops....Until we organize this event from a tech standpoint nobody needs to buy anything........

Once you sort out a date I will plan on attending if my schedule is open. I am still a bit bitter about taking my Fenway team into the Semi finals and then playing a single elimination game in like Griffith Stadium against a deadball squad, so I want another shot at the title.

In the meantime, myself and the crew are still heading to Vegas in March. Getting in on Thursday the 16th and out on the 20th. Need three or four rooms. Send me a quick PM, if its possible to get similar casino rates at the Orleans as last year, or if you have some other suggestions.

If I recall correctly, Bbrool you are bitter about playing my Griffith squad. You can't imagine the thrill I have knowing you are still bitter. We humans are pretty scummy that way, I guess. And I agree that single-elimination was a tough way to go.

Or maybe I was just beyond tipsy and you actually played someone else. Regardless it was fun (until Honus committed that error against Penn in the finals, the 1e54 bastard).

But I digress. I'm still checking into this thread from time to time and will be interested to see what dates emerge. I might be able to swing by this summer if it's after the school year ends.

Best of luck on the surgery Bobby, and thanks again for all you do to make all we do in LV so much fun and so little work.

Yep Frannyzoo it was at your hands that I lost. I knew I was in trouble the moment you went looking for the hit and run button. I hope to go again this year, but alot of those dates are weekends I have other commitments so I will just wait and see. I have a laptop that I can bring if I come.

Due to various conflicts with my schedule, I have eliminated the May time frame. It appears that June is still viable for the event. My shoulder surgery will occur on February 23rd so I believe that everything will be in order by then. I still have to check several items to finalize this event. I should have an answer very soon. [b:2c028190df]It appears that the dates are going to be June 21-26th week....That's the best for my schedule as of today. I need to confirm the dates with the South Coast. This HAS NOT BEEN CHECKED as of tonight. I will do so in the morning when I get to work. I hope we get more to come to this event than last year. It will be great if we can.
