Our Mystery Card games - The '70s Game, Back to the '80s, Back to the '90s

I got lucky with Yount, got about 10 out of 25 picks (some good substitutions though) and the first waiver pick, such a mixed blessing. If anybody sees someone on the waiver wire they have to have (Ripken, Dawson, Sutton, etc) I'll listen to all offers.

I better call my broker given the cost for pitcher park players just went up for this league :(

[list:3f8b445977]
[b:3f8b445977]EAST[/b:3f8b445977]
Elves - Shea {pitcher}
Heat - Arlington {neutral}
Bust - Olympic {neutral}
Ghosts - Astrodome {pitcher}

[b:3f8b445977]CENTRAL[/b:3f8b445977]
Champs - County {neutral}
Drives - Fulton {neutral}
Lords - Riverfront {neutral}
Benefits - Royals {pitcher - singles haven}

[b:3f8b445977]WEST[/b:3f8b445977]
Roclers - Busch {pitcher}
Sublime - Royals {pitcher -singles haven} }
Canucks64 :shock: - Murph {hitter - HRs only}
e-LEMON-ator - Royals {pitcher - singles haven}
[/list:u:3f8b445977]

It will be interesting to see how [b:3f8b445977]Penn's Canucks64[/b:3f8b445977] :shock: fare in the pitcher park haven in the West. If anything, he has the pick of the free agent pool for BPHR heavy hitters.

For the West only, I expect significant roster changes as the conference's average spend per team is $10M for free agents.

Rockers - $8M
Sublime - $15M
Canucks64 - $12M
e-LEMON-ator - $7M

With the above teams chasing pitching park candidates, it will be fun to see the rosters morph during the week.

[i:e315feb018]If this game continues to grow and get more good players, Stieb is going to be a top 2 pick soon. [/i:e315feb018]

I hope everyone does that :D

Christ.....

As the team stands, pre-waivers, I wont win 30 games. Got not ONE of my hitters, and I had them ranked 1-8 with Ryan #9......

guessing alot of people got 10-12 players on there draft cards, as I got 11, and ended up with the 5th overall pick....

couldnt wait for this team to draft, now, I cant wait for the season to be over.

This is going to suck

Post-waiver adjustments :D or Super Bowl pre-game shows and beers @ the party. :roll:

Luckily, I have the Super Bowl party at my house this year. I'm sure the wife is going to be pissed every time I grab a guest's coat and then wonder off to my office to check to see if someone dropped George Brett. :mrgreen:

Doug, team is the Gettysburg Ghosts....

And, I have lots of work to do with it in waivers. I wont be here for the post waiver frenzy, as I am back peddlin pizzas, as a part time job this time. (Full time, I am a contractor for Columbia Gas, a natural gas company)
