tell me the difference, please

explain to me what def. player 1 (-3 ) e26 is compared to a def. player 2 (-3 ) e7. which would be the better defensive player? i thought that a 1 was always better than a 2, but it looks like the e26 would make a lot lot more errors than the e7. help!
