Just to make it official (and so I don't forget), albert2b and I made a trade in which I received his 3rd round draft choice for the 1986 draft.

1/3 gone

one thrid in and the races are close...close...close. The teams are getting evan and no one seems to be dominating a division.

I'm looking forward to Alberts 1985 All-Stars selections.

I know that I have 2 ROY candidates. K-Mac and ODB.

Sykes,

those are tremendous numbers for K-Mac and Oddibe. Why Oddibe doesn't get a chance more often is beyond me. I lost in the semi-finals of Beer & Peanuts II, because Oddibe got injured in the last game of the season. Take a look at his stats for my 86 Bosox -- very solid !!

I feel George Bell has a pretty strong case for rookie of the year consideration also: .330 AVG, 18 HR, 54 RBI, .980 OPS and only 2 errors as full time left fielder, and a 15 game hitting streak early in the season.

Who else has a candidate?

I nominate Gorman Thomas for "Hall of Fame while still active" category -- that guy has had killer numbers all 5 years in this theme league ...

this year, 23 HR, 54 RBI, 1.000 OPS, solid with the glove in CF and RF. Even if his season ended today, put that with the other 4 killer years, and you've got an absolutely unbelievable string of seasons.
