I am glad that last week was a strong week - going 15-6 - as the next two weeks each start off with 12 game road trips!

Not a bad road trip - better than expected - went 6-6. 2 more homes series before the next 12 game road trip.

6 games back with 21 to play ... not out of it yet, but going to be an uphill battle. However the WC is even further away - so we'll have to make due! Wish I was in the Central division. ;)

MVP - Jim Edmonds

Edmonds had a very productive year (disregarding AVG) and led the team in Runs, HR, RBI and BB.

CY Young - Johan Santana

Too bad he wasnt a * SP ... but otherwise Santana did everything expected of him and led the rotation in IP, Ks, ERA & WHIP.

Rolaids Relief - Ron Mahay

Ate up a large amount of IP, and had a respectable ERA/WHIP while posting 15 Wins & 7 saves.

Pleasant Surprise - Jimmy Rollins

Second in the team in Doubles, solid performance from a pick that was defensive minded

Disappointing Performance - Melvin Mora

Needed to be a force as a table setter, Mora was mediocre, posting a sub-par season, and missing 23 games.
