2006 TSN Online Strat-O-Matic PREVIEW

Berkman - 2 injury - hope you face lots of righties because has BPHR of 8 but 0 vs. lefties. Good OB vs. both, which is nothing new. Interesting on defense, has 3e10 for 1b but 4 for LF and RF.

Edmonds - Same great card. Just higher DP chances than 2004 set and lower HR, not BPHR, chances vs. righties than 2004. 8 BPHR vs. righties and lefties.

Not sure of the teams for Branyan and Michaels.

Edmonds has a 2 injury chance, forgot that earlier.

Branyan - 3 injury - hope you face lots of righties because thats all he is good against. Looks like a 9R balance with a BPHR of 8 and crappy defense.

Michaels - good defense, 1 injury chance. 0-1 BPHR vs. either side. Great OB vs. lefties. Decent vs. righties.

Looks like you will need to platoon Michaels and Branyan if those are your OF.

Seo - 2 BPHR vs. both, looks better vs. lefties. Low BB vs. both sides. Probably a 2-3L balance. Overall, I like the card.

Postby mfsleeze » Mon Feb 06, 2006 8:07 am

This is my first time having the disk, are the injuries somewhere and I just can't find them?

Why would you play a pre-card league and where did you even find it? I've never seen one.

Precard league just helps build the anticipation of a new season. It's been interesting trying to predict player values & stats.

There have been a few precard drafts advertised on the boards. Did one before the ratings disk & book came out and doing one now with the disk but no values. Also did a 05-06 keeper league.

Oh...cool Stoney. Sounds like fun but I don't know if I'd want to waste my money when I wouldn't know what the cards are like. This game is hard enough when you DO know what they're like. lol

how about johnny gomes. don't think his outfield rating will be good but i would think he would be an offensive force. how does his card look?

Gomes is 4(0) in LF & RF.

Slightly better vs right.

vs Left
42 OB
38 TB

vs Right
43 OB
46 TB

8 BPHR each side.
