LOTO(AKA League Of their Own) 05' CONSOLATION LEAGUE

As replacements in 05' and I tend to take them on every team...Gomez and Cruz in the IF, Young and Freel - all RHH, but definitely players that cover the whole IF and OF from each side.

I always carry at least 1 3 Po. OF that can move around and 2 3-4 PO IFs to cover injury risks. But this year Gomez and cruz have been my favorites. (Depending on BP, of course.)

Man! What a rough fricking week for my team. As an owner I am pissed! :evil: I've already fired the trainer, the mascot, the batboy, and a beer vender just for good measure. These guys better start performing or there is gonna be hell to pay! I'm gonna start firing coaches if they put out the wrong signal, I'll even fire the players wives if they're not hooking their men up enough at home. This skid has got to stop!

For the 3 Sheas, Petco and Kauffman - where those BP HRs vs the Rightside are not so scary...I think my team needs a better LHH than Dellucci against the right side tho...

Tonight is the first of two emergency starts by duchscherer...I've got really bad records when having an emergency start by a non SP rated pitcher. You'd imagine that by now I'd learn my lesson and I'd be covered...but noooooo way, no sireee bob. Not me :oops:

Ty, what can I say...I know INJ players all to well from my limited experience, it's really weird, injury bugs that is, I had a team, not really a M*A*S*H* unit but still quite injury prone. They went for about 120-130 games with minor 3 game inuries and near the game 142 deadline...wham! pretty much all of them down for 10 or 15 :roll: Still I like playing injury guys as long as I have Figgins or Jolbert Cabrera or a player like that. Then again you remeber in Rooks 101 I ended up with Pokey Reese playing more games than Andrew Jones :shock:

Now, you want to see a pretty interesting MASH team? take look at Lucky's team in the tour finals...that is one nasty, filthy good looking league. G'luck ET and Big, we'll keep cheering for our LOTO buds.

Funny thing is though that I really didn't think the team was THIS injury prone! I'm guessing I just got some pretty crappy luck with the virtual dice rolls.

I didn't want to have to tell you this, but....it's all my fault. I replaced
the Sporting News virtual dice with my own "loaded" dice. :(

I am ashamed of myself for stooping to such levels, but my luck has
just been soooo bad in 2005, and with you in my division I knew it was
going to be another last place finish for one of my Ashby teams so I
was forced to take drastic measures !!

I'll pick my "dirty dice" up on my way home tonight and put back the
regular game dice. Sorry for any problems this may have caused your
team.
