The 1969 game records are being gathered behind the scenes, with some most appreciated helpers - Dave3504, Sykes25, LMBombers, and Rob55 - who have spent lots of hours pouring through many of the leagues that finished in the first 5 weeks of the game.

I have the official hitting records up on my site, and the pitching and team records will follow within a couple of days.

Bernie will be putting the links within the game itself soon, and then the official version will mirror my web site.

Hitting, Pitching, and Team records are now complete with additions from those that e-mailed me personally.

I will take submissions for the other categories, Big Games, Wild Games (35 or more runs combined), and of course Single Game records. Just post them here and we can start to build those categories and then I will link them when I get enough to look at. As with the other records pages, I am looking for games of 4 HR or more, 6 hits or more, 10 rbi or more, 5 sb in a game or more - Perfect Games, no-hit games, and 15+ strikeout performances for the big games category.

Let's build 'em up.
