A groove? What's that? As soon as my guys start to think about a groove somebody comes up and whacks them over the head with a frying pan and puts them out for 15 games. :roll:

Well I got rid of Hoffman and his lovely 5.82 ERA and used the excess money to add D. Marte and B. Higginson. Good move or not I'm not sure but it was about the only moves I could find in trying to find something to spark this club of mine.

My Puddlejumpers are slowly but surely losing steam. I've lost my last
5 series, my pitching has dropped from 2nd all the way down to 11th in
just over a week !! My hitting continues to perform WAY WAY WAY over
what should be expected, and we all know that this will only last for so
long. I'm hoping that maybe when my hitting starts to head south my
pitching will pick up a bit.

Doesn't it just seem fitting that with this group of Strat players we're
going to have some "strange" happenings going on before the season is
over, you can bank on it !!!

with Beltran not hitting in HR Parks or LH HR Parks...I have put out the "For Sale" sign...BTW Jeff(Or anyone for that matter) - It seems that any team that has been playing poorly has started their winning streaks at the Cha Cha's expense.

Looks like my team is going to be the punching bag. But I will make changes - even if it is to just shake it up a bit. I had 8 straight consecutive series at Shea and only won 9 games in that stretch - That is pretty bad...

UNFREAKING REAL!! :evil: :evil: :evil: I go out and pick up Higgy yesterday to pick up the ABs when Walker goes down so what happens in his very first series?? He gets 1 stinking AB and gets injured for 10 games! In the same series Mohr goes down again. I AM PISSED!

Terrific series between LeatherKnockers and Puddle Jumpers last night with the division lead on the line. Jeff, whatever you are feeding those hitters of yours is still working, but to my good fortune I think you mistakenly laid out the same spread for my guys, because they suddenly figured out which end of the bat to use. I've never seen more 9th and 10th inning scoring in one series (15 runs). Every game decided in the last inning. Final scores were 7-6, 11-8, and 9-8 in which all three could have gone either way. Luckily for me, we won two of them and pulled into a tie for first. This is my first winning series in Ameriquest, I think, even if it was as a visiting team.

Maybe its not your pitching, Jeff. Check those cooks - what have they been feeding your opposing hitters? :wink:
