Date of Start of Season Question

If it says the season starts Monday Sep 19, does that mean the games are played Monday night into Tuesday and we get the first results Tuesday morning or is it Sunday night into Monday and results of first games are seen Monday morning?

Monday night with results Tuesday. Many nights you can see results as early as 12:30 Eastern.
