Still can't believe this hasn't filled yet. Granted, the last teams picked will be at a disadvantage to start the season. But, the ability to sign the first FAs each Saturday, and more of them (possibly), should really even things out. The 65 Dodgers or the Tigers might be the weakest to start. But, the Dodgers will have good pitching initially, and with the ability to add Snider and Furillo (for example) give them a solid core to build on. And the Tigers can add Cobb and York to kick things off. I really don't think things will be as imbalanced as people are obviously perceiving. Yanks WILL have the offense, but their pitching will be lacking. And pitching usually wins the ring. I think people are not reading fully/understanding the rules. Perhaps the different threads and kicking around of the rules have confused/scared off people. Anyway, hopefully we can get four more owners not afraid of a challenge to jump in this week. Heck, the Play for your City themes fill quickly, and I think you are at a much BIGGER disadvantage in those themes, should you get stuck with one of the more weaker cities (like Detroit). :)

fgreeley, what Foxx are you adding? I think Jimmy Foxx is on the Philadelphia A's. You need to add someone from the 46 or 86 Red Sox, or perhaps Pilgrims. :)

There was some discussion of staggering the number of free agents a team drafted on Saturdays: three FAs for the 4 bottom dwelling teams, two for the mid-level teams, and only one for the top four. Currently (neededing a majority of members to pass this proposal), we would need five VOTES:

1 - Arkinals
2 - Modmark - "Sounds like a logical plan"
3 - franks1313 - "...does sound good."
4 - genegrid (parity is a good thing)
5

1 - hfsmart- everybody gets three
