We'll rotate through the teams in order. We'll also rotate through the list of managers with each of us getting a turn to set salary cap/DH/waivers one season and a franchise related rule/division alignments a second season.

As far as division assignments go I think we should let the manager making the rule for that season decide how the divisions will work. That manager can decide to do one of the following three things to align the divisions:

1. Let them fill first come first serve.
2. Use lottery numbers or get someone to use random.org to assign the divisions
3. Put teams into divisions based on geography/rivalries. For example:

East
Dodgers
Giants
Yankees
Red Sox
Based on NYC and Yankee - Red Sox Rivalry

Central
A's
Phillies
Pirates
Indians
Based on Penn and we throw in the Indians regionally

West
Cards
Orioles (Browns)
Cubs
White Sox
St. Louis/Chicago and Cubs Cards rivalry

I think loading up the divisions this way is ok, we just have to have an honor system so no one creates lopsided divisions to maximize their chances of making the playoffs.

buster j ratt can set the cap, DH rule and waivers at any time. Once they're in place, Idanred can give his rule and how he's going to do the division alignments.

I was thinking anywhere from 2 weeks to a month between seasons, but I'm open to suggestions. Marge is away from 10/1 to 10/11, so unless we want to start the first two seasons during the same week, we'll probably wait until after 10/11 for season 2.
