[quote:8c949036b8="albert2b"]I'll go with 2 drafted stadiums per team. Unique, I assume?[/quote:8c949036b8]

Yes, unique ballparks. How many parks are there, 26? 24 will be drafted.

No one will be forced to use their second ballpark.

Drafting two parks creates some interesting strategy decisions. Do you draft two similar? a hitter's and a pitcher's? a neutral and an extreme? Do you draft your second park, to keep others from having it?

i am fine with stadiums as long as i can play just one...can we trade a stadium? for a player? i am satisfied that you all have thought htis through and if you are convinced there is no need for player grabbing system at the end of each season to help struggling teams...than i am with you....you all play a lot more than i do...so i will agree with your logic...i just wanted to make sure we were considering this possible problem. i will look for the rules.

OK to the ballpark proposal.

Are they to be selected in the regular draft or separate?

[quote:6da5371690]Again, drawing from my own experience from the Decade Keeper League, we only had one perenial "loser" in our league [/quote:6da5371690]

Albert, I resent that !!

What? Oh, you didn't mean me? Sorry, I take back the  and replace it with a :D

Seriously, though -- I like the way this is sounding, it is staying simple. 54 players is enough to keep everyone competitive; 4 worst teams get a 25% chance of making playoffs the next year. 2 stadiums (that should be drafted in the draft, in order to assure uniqueness) --- all that plus mystery cards give plenty of variety. That player base will also give us a chance to learn more about those 54 players in their different card seasons too. I've played guys like Chili Davis and Willie Upshaw enough to know pretty early on when to hold 'em and when to fold 'em --- I"d like to learn more about some other guys too.

Great job BC .... post the rules and lets enjoy this draft. I know some get frustrated with drafts going slow, but I hope this one can move slow enough that we can enjoy it a little bit as it goes along.

Thanks,

Sean
