I can only speak for myself, of course, but I'd be willing to go along with Irish's request. ANYTHING to get this league filled and off of the ground! I think it could be a lot of fun, and quite the challenge. We are so close to filling, I hope we don't quibble over the last few wrinkles. I say 3 FAs across the board, and use Irish's suggestion for the first two weeks. Seems like it would eliminate the fear of someone throwing games (I can't see anyone doing that, but I guess it COULD be used as a "strategy). Anyway, that's just my .02. With luck, this could be a go today. I will put my team in to the EAST once I am SURE we have 12 committed owners. :)

I'm okay with Irish's suggestion too. His idea would be a good compromise on the free agent issue. Let's get the league filled-- and let's play.

I don't mean to be a wet blanket here, but I got into this league picking a team that sucks with no defense and 2 good hitters. I joined based on the rules that were set up. Now you want to change them. I don't want to play in a league where I have no opportunity to be competitive. Sorry to be a jerk but if the rules change I'm out.

I am agreeable to Irish's suggestion ( especially since I would go second the first 2 weeks, lol. If I understand it correctly if not its okay too.
I will go with the majority on all proposals.
