I don't believe that any of that good luck you sent made it to my team...maybe it'll be delivered tonight in time for the first pitch.

Mis-Matched Mustelids

Postby MIKEGILBERT » Sat Oct 04, 2008 1:10 pm

It was tough picking a team, even knowing what my division-mates had drafted. And ggringo's team made it even harder, a masher team in a pitcher's park. That team should be interesting this season!

On to Adrian!

I just want to dedicate my Season I Championship to Munich Man.

He is a class act, strong competitor and all-around great guy. I was thrilled to get the invitation to join this theme, and glad to compete against each of you. I worked really hard to build and run a team that I thought would beat MM's squad and it worked! I think this is the first time I've won a championship in the same league as MM, so this will definitely be a memorable title (29th overall & 1st ATG IV - making it my 11th different SOM title).

yeah Mike,
that 11 spot is tough, no doubt....my masher team is a spin-off from a team that won consistently in the S.B.D.L., TomWistar used the Babe and greenberg in the Astrodome (80 mil league)in atg III, we'll see if it has the same effect for me, just one true hitter's park so far (Gregg's Team of course)....lovin this Theme!!...thanks for the invite amigo

I am in. Central may load. I put Mike Morgan and Pete Wickersham on my card in place of Moose Haas. They will be dropped and Haas picked up at the start of the frenzy. How did I let people convince me a 3 at 2nd base is a good idea?

Last nights 4-17 record and the abysmal performances of many of my teams leads me to wonder why I am here.
