I'm with rslavens, having been a professional journal editor. I just chose to keep quiet about it. I've already learned the hard way people here don't appreciate spelling corrections. That said, I would only use premiere to indicate a debut.

Love Cobb but would actually bat him 2nd or 3rd in the order and lead Morgan off, he gets on a ton.

Morgan (best leadoff)
Speaker (best 2)
Cobb (best at 3 in pitcher to nuetrel parks)

Here's my favorite small-park lineup, 1 thru 5:

1) Chance
2) Morgan
3) Cobb
4) Wagner
5) Steinfeldt

This takes advantage of low DPs and the GbA+ of Morgan and the clutch hitting of Cobb, Wagner and Steinfeldt.

I don't know too much about the historical greats of baseball (just bought a nice book) but with all the hits that Cobb had I'd go with him at leadoff. Plus the attitude...that's good for a leadoff hitter eh?
