I'm hoping some of you have created proxies, though I know that's hard to do in the first round.

I've got 6 proxies set. But all 6 could go before my pick and then I'll be left with a tough decision.

Hoping we can get through the first couple of rounds this weekend.

Set my proxies before the draft started, but they all seem to be washed away (?),. Anyway, Mr. Brett is gone.

BigA. I had to delete the previous league, so I think your proxies went with it. Proxies should work now.

Mav is up with the # 5 pick.

I'm having buyer's remorse ---- was Gwynn a good pick?? Man, drafting for an eternity (or at least for multiple seasons) is very different than drafting for a single season team. Lots of different things that you have to think about.

This is a fun format, BC. Enjoy, everyone !!!

Bump for Mav.

I'm all excited about the 4 players left, one of whom will fall to me.

:D

BC, Jablowmi,

don't forget, it was ME (and my pick of Gwynn) that is causing the euphoria you are feeling about players being left. Be kind to me down the road. Remember your dumb buddy Sean when you're about to steal my coveted next pick

I've used Gwynn in 7 leagues. He has averaged .344 AVG, 110 runs, 51 SB, .388 OBP in those leagues. He plays virtually every game -- no long injuries. He can leadoff against RHP and LHP. He can play a darn good CF (better defensively than Butler, Lynn and many others).

I've used him in Royals, Fenway, Fulton, Metrodome and Astrodome.

I've used Rickey several times; have had only one decent season. Raines can only play LF. Trammell has hit below .220 in complete seasons for me twice.

Hey, why do I feel like I need justify picking Gwynn?? :?

Hope he doesn't become my Lenny Bias pick :(

Good luck guys. Have fun!

While there are guys I like better than him, I don't think Gwynn was a bad pick at all. On his worst card, he hit 309! An obvious first rounder. I've also never had good luck with Rickey, but could end up building a keeper league around him.......
