if i have both smoltz and krod.......

What I would like to do is use smoltz as my set up man and krod as closer....

but i only want smoltz to work 1 inning, then krod 1-2....

how should i adjust my manager settings?????

You have that backwards. KRod will give you a lot more innings, he should setup. Depending then on how much you also want to use Smoltz, set him on max 1-2IP or max 2-3IP, and don't come in before the 8th or 7th. Also if you want to use closer maximize that will get him less innings, but they will be more effective innings.

KRod can get you 150-200IP as a setup guy, and they will be mostly good innings. He is a stud.

ok .....just feel better having krod as my closer than smoltz.......but you have more exp at this than i do!

I agree w/ PBTR. K-Rod is awesome. He's pretty expensive, so to maximize value, use him as set up. Smoltz will get the job done in the Closer Role.
