Visited and read the thread. To be honest I sort of forgot so it was a good thing I was here.

Lotto tonight and then we draft our franchise Monday

As far as filling out your roster, we are auto drafting 2-6 free agents depending on the salary of your franchise so it should not be an issue. If it comes up then you can draft a.50 player from a franchise not chosen and then drop him when the draft is over,

Gene... WV and Texas do not have a Sunday drawing.... I can't find ANY drawing for Arkansas at all.

If the others get theirs fixed and we can go tonight, I'll change to Connecticut.

Commish genegrid,

I know that rules specified that once you select a team, the players from that 1969 team are yours for the entire season.

(1) For example, if I get the Orioles, I cannot trade away Frank Robinson or any other Oriole during the season. I can drop and add other Orioles at my whim (as long as I can afford it).

(2) Further, if I have the Orioles, and another owner gets ANY Oriole in the autodraft, that player needs to be dropped by the owner because ALL Orioles are my property (in this example).

Is that correct? (I just want to clarify).

Thanks - looks like a competitive league.

That is correct and you would also be allowed to carry 2 free agents on your roster chosen from the 12 franchises not drafted. You would be allowed as many as 2 but could go with one or none if you preferred.

And yes the Oakland Astros championship was great. The two team theme has been kind to me as I also made a playoff run with the Boston Pilots in one of Moose's leagues.

Thanks - looks like a competitive league.

After we determine which team we will get, still a little confused on the auto draft. Should we be filling out our draft card:

1.) with our non-franchise (2-6) free agents at the bottom of the draft card
2.) top our draft card
3.) or do we just draft our selcted team, and then select the free agents during the waiver period
