I've [i:71d9d773c2]never[/i:71d9d773c2] finished a season with Mattingly. I only had the opportunity of drafting him [b:71d9d773c2]one time[/b:71d9d773c2] and it was his worst card. He never lasts that long in an autodraft for me to pick him up.
Therefore, I nominate myself for the biggest homer pick of the draft.
Mattingly was my hero as a kid. Went to see him play at NY as a teen and met him in person at his own personal restaurant in Evansville, IN when I was scouting colleges. Wish his career would have been longer.
