Ok, that's 7 votes for the combined penalty proposed by majicmg.

1st offense - Simply drop the offending player IMMEDIATELY upon discovery, replace him on the roster and use a benchwarmer valued at under $1 million in his place for the same number of games the ringer played.

2nd offense - Follow the same procedure as in offense No. 1, while adding an additional financial penalty equal to the offending player's salary. The owner will regain the cash when the games-played penalty expires.

3rd offense - Follow the same procedure as in offense No. 2, but double the financial penalty.

Rule for Season 3
Franchise Player Rule---Each manager must list 2 Franchise Players, then the manager listed below names one player carded to your Franchise as Off-limits to you for this upcoming season. That player is banned from playing for your franchise, but would be available to any manager's team for which the player played (no limit).

ex.--buster Franchises Koufax & Drysdale, Idanred(below buster on the list) then declares Duke Snider off-limits to the Dodgers.

andy, are there any requirements for what qualifies as a franchise player. For example, could the A's name Cobb as a franchise player?

Since you gave us the rule before we the salary cap etc..., we'll let you reserve the right to change the rule once we know the cap.

Ok. So I understand that I will pick 2 guys, and then some other guy will be off-limits. What about the rest of the team? Only carded guys? Anyone who ever played for the franchise? What's the deal? Will there be a draft of some kind???
