This kind of makes me think the opposite. Maybe we do have to draft only carded players during the auto-draft. I'm cool with that, too.

Good point. We'll have to wait for Andy. Also, if you release (or don't draft) one of the players you've protected, are they fair game for other teams?

I think the players that each team protected should be available to only them, even if you release them or don't draft them.

If the protected players can be fair game if the manager doesn't keep them on their roster, then so shouldn't the off-limit players.

I had said earlier to only draft players carded to your franchise. Then after waivers, any player that ever played for your franchise is fair game.
Also, I'm cool with the 2 protected players being yours exclusively throughout the season.

On my draft list I can only rank players carded to the Braves

Then I can try to claim any player that ever played for the Braves during waivers. Is that right?

This may seem like a stupid question but I'll ask it anyway. If we all draft only players carded only to our franchise, then why are we doing waivers? IF everyone drafts only players carded to their franchise, then everyone would have the same rank for waivers because we would all get 100%, right? And then I'm guessing that HAL would randomly assign waiver order. With the off-limits part of the rule, I would guess it would be more fun and competitive to be able to draft anyone that played for the franchise. Just my two cents, but I'm wondering why we're doing waivers if everyone will have 100% of their auto-draft picks.

Agree with above Frenzy would be just as fair You either here or you are not and I would not be for 5 or 6 hours but at least if I got someone I would have them not wait 2 days
