Biggest surprises on the upside are Alabama, Dearborn and Maui. For Bama and Dearborn their offensives are doing better than expected. Acutally Dearborn is better than expected on both sides, primarily on D because their horrid defense isn't hurting them...yet. Same can be said for Maui Their D is even worse!

On the flip side, Student's D has let him down. Same for Title Wave. Not sure off the top why Packwood and ZZ are below. :?

Offense numbers are pretty close for everyone ecept that Dearborn and Bama are over performing. Dearborn less so than Bama.

As stated above, Dearborn and Maui's D should be hurting them more than it has. I expect things will even out over the long season.

Student's pitching has come up from where it was, but still lags somewhat.

Titlewave's tremendous D hasn't helped him as much as would be expected yet.

The rest are pretty close.

I'll tell you the number one thing wrong with your ratings: no explanation!!! What does all of this stuff mean? Are we supposed to guess or just take a bunch of numbers that say that your team is the best and leave it at that?

Hi Metsey,

Well, just been playing the board game for 30+ years so you start trying to figure out how to better evaluate the cards and step by step, you get better at it you know? Eventually, with computers and spreadsheets, you can really formalize things.

It's just a lot more fun to me when you can focus on building teams and not trying to sort through all the numbers.

THREE MORE GAMES

Postby Play By The Rules » Thu Oct 30, 2008 1:59 am

OK, I finally moved Ruiz out of the leadoff spot, you can stop laughing now Jet...

I get Anderson back again in three games. He's already taken two 15 gamers this season. Suppose I could have any more bad luck with him?

You know, there are the conspiracy theorists on these boards that say that once someone gets hurt, he has a higher likelyhood of getting hurt again. Anyone here believe that?

Why were you using Ruiz as a leadoff hitter when you have Cust, Swisher, and KJ, all high OBP guys?
