You can play Schofield everyday and bat him 9th. The improvement in defensive range will help you tremendously. If you find that he is hurting you too much offensively, grab Stillwell to platoon against RHP and pull him for defense late in the game. It's a 1.5m SS combo that is servicable and leaves you cash to tweak elsewhere.

Picked up Schofield; Franco's gone. I'll see what happens with Smalley over the next few series-- at the moment, he's one of the hotter bats in the lineup. If he drops off precipitously, I'll ditch him quick and pick up a platoon mate for Schofield.
