Ed Delahanty is carded to the Phillies, and is one of the two players I claimed in the pre-draft. However, he's been picked up by the Senators, and should be dropped immediately.

I thought we were clear in the preseason: Protect two players from your franchise, and no one else can touch them for the season. As a result, I'm clearly in the right to have dropped him procedurally during waivers to claim another player and then reclaim him once waivers were processed.

The newest season hasn't even started yet, and I'm jumping at the bit to start another one. :shock:

I think it takes a lot planning and plotting for some of these to put together the best teams. I know event 2 was tough, and I know the two seasons for which I have a say will be tricky because I have the Pirates and Twins, not exactly the top 2 franchises in this thing.

I agree.... it would be great to have the rules early and be able to take a couple weeks to get prepared. This is the only league I am playing in and am not very familiar with the players. I know I rushed myself in league 3 and didn't protect Dick Allen... really screwed myself over.
