Ring Fling IV - Meat - enter tonite and we go!

Postby bkeat23 » Wed Feb 15, 2006 9:22 pm

db -

It's Meat's spot to have, if he's ready tonite, which he said he would be. There's the rub. If you rush a squad together, and Meat enters his team, you're there with a team and no place to call home. I'm not going to ask you to do that.

Thanks!

And my wife is Kentucky Fan, as a result of Southern Ahia upbringing and living in Cincy for a while. :D

apologies again, hopefully you know from my unfortunate eligibiltiy from the previous flings, im reliable. work and feeding kids and other nonsense kept getting in the way. that plus finding out how many guys I thought were perfect actually would suck in candlestick. as if I'd know, i've never tried it. there, now you know the last stadium in the west...I suppose ill be in with a baker and polo and fenway like last time.

Stan
Aaron Hoping for a R/L punch in Forbes

Kaat
Ozzie
Boyd 2 SPs and a SS

Meusel Great D + Doubles power
Geromino Great D, need a good enough team to hit him 8th
Chucky G  bastard  settling at 2b will make CF a prob.

Martinez
Guisti Need a Pen!

Have Collins later at 2b and 3b, so hopefully everyone either went for a hitting team or figured they'd never get Eddie Collins and left him out there. :D

Sanguillen, Schalk, and Hershberg are on the card to catch.

I think it's Forbes, could be Griffith. Pitchers park anyway.

had stan and muesel, musial and meusel, on the team at one point, but neither made the final cut. got hershberger and that's the only duplicate I see so far. originally had collins, but gehringer's numbers are so much better in the stick, I decided to stick myself with a potential injury at 2b...that is if someone else doesn't list him #1. I don't thing ive EVER gotten the #1 when more than one of us listed him tops, hence my eligibity for this league. one thing ive learned through eternal bridesmaidmanship...if I go for a mays, snider cobb, etc, who you pretty much build your team around, and there's no comparable replacement that comes close, and HAL doesn't give you first dibs...you're done. especially when you pick your park to fit your centerpiece player, who's now on someone else's roster.
