It's not so much that he was on the market... more like he was on the market for a GG SS that can hit and play everyday.

If you are keeping track I basically traded Tulo for Young. Kaz was a pass through. I also swapped 3 RP's(Frasor,Mahay, Ohman) for 2 upside OF's( Franquoer and Willingham) and moved up 3 spots in 2nd round (giving me 2 picks in the top 20)

BTW... if anyone has been reading J-Pavs thread concerning his magic formula than Guzman at SS may be of interest to you. Good bat less than good glove. But according to J-Pav his solid O will more than make up for his D woes.

Trust me [b:94ff59ce0e]I'M [/b:94ff59ce0e]keeping track, :wink: and I realize I didn't have the fit for you to give up Kaz, and I likely don't to watts either, just doesn't help my frustration level. I've been attempting to aquire Kaz and Reyes almost since the league started and keep missing out while they've both moved twice now.

I like Kaz as well....but 2 things that bother me about him. His 23 dingers in only 152 innings and the fact that Strato is less than kind to LHP. He does have a huge upside over the next few years but I decided I would rather have a solid everyday position player than a LHP with the propensity to give up HR's....but that's just me.

But with reyes at SS i could move young, and kaz makes a good upgrade in my rotation following dempster and peavy
