Face it Echo! Dan has to enter the West where I am the Dark Horse to win it all. Why would he blow $24.95 just to lose to me?

You don't really know much about Dan. He could have cerebral palsy and be wheelchair bound and might undergoing a flare. He might not be able to get a Wednesday nite pass from the Community Mental Institution. His dog Lucky may have gotten run over by a garbage truck. Have compassion! It may not be his fault!

Ridiculous.

I'm sure I'll have more comments in about 40 minutes.

Nothing against the other 47 of us that have done this right, but I would NEVER have wasted a $100 if I had know what this person was gonna pull like this! Unbelievable!!!!!!!

Do you want to know why many great managers decided not to play this tournament this year? This is the number one reason why.

People make a committment when they sign up for something like this. A committment to check in regularly, a committment to follow the rules, and committment to enter your teams in a timely manner.

Obviously Dan doesn't care about anybody but Dan. He entered one team five days ago. He then stated to me in a PM [b:3175d47264]today[/b:3175d47264] that he didn't know both leagues were starting when it was clearly stated in this thread. But then Dan [b:3175d47264]assured me and another manager via PM[/b:3175d47264] that he would enter his team tonight. The league was started seven days ago. The last of the other leagues filled Tuesday.

So first Dan pleads ignorance. And then he lies to multiple managers. Many have patiently waited for a week, others have weekend committments. But the world revolves around Dan. People like Dan are why we have 24 fewer teams this year. People like Dan are why I (and many others) are a little bit upset. Had Dan not lied to us he could have been replaced Wednesday. Instead we have to wait and wait and wait.

It's freaking inconsiderate.

End of rant.

I'm through with Dan. Hopefully he's replaced tomorrow.

Relax echo, As long as Dan enters his team by Friday night all leagues will start on the same day. The other leagues will not be any further along than your league.

this sucks - it's the main problem with running a tourney. i hope he gets in tonight or we'll have to figure out what to do. i'll check back in tomorrow morning.

[b:1abc284534]NOTE: on 1/19 (Monday), we will begin the round 3 process. please mark your calendars and check back in here to see what is going on. announcements will go out to each league the week before.[/b:1abc284534]
