closing in on first clock expiration. if it isn't on don, set it for three hours. owner will NOT be automatically skipped, the next in line must pick manually to get draft moving again. we've still got about 40 minutes, so hopefully djmacb will surface.

So what happens to his pick if we do that? Those rules were not published that I saw.

The reason I am asking is that I am at a work meeting all day tomorrow 9-5 CDT and I don't love the idea of getting skipped. Will have proxies set-up, but you can only go so far with that.

Don, please clarify. Thanks.

well he can jump in anytime and make a pick if he's skipped. Clock is on 3 hours already. Next pick will have to be manually made to get proxies rolling again so hopefully sschu is around and ready to go in about 25 min

Well he'll be back up at pick 40 I suppose and will have another 3 hours...

As far as the process after our somdraft.com draft, I presume we form a team, autodraft the players we drafted here, then add another 8 players to round out the team (we drafted 17 plus a stadium). I presume we compete for these free agent players. Then we select the stadium we drafted and do a frenzy afterward? Or waivers? :?:

in another league that Don and myself are in (starts next week) i was just offered by another team (not Don) Phil Rizzuto and Edgar Martinez for Tris Speaker :roll: Its a live draft league so there are no salaries and all our teams are maxed out with superstars except im kinda lame at SS but the deal would make zero sense for me..i already have Eddie Mathews as my 3rd baseman and it would leave me with a historically underperforming over valued CF(who shall remain nameless because he hasnt been drafted in this league yet) as my starter to replace Speaker.
