Looking for opinions on Millan

My team is in San Diego. My division and rest of the league all bomber ballparks except one or two.

I managed to get my hands on Millan(draft) and Hunt/Helms(FA's). If I keep Millan, I would lead him off. I'm not sure he's good enough for me to score enough and I don't like him Batting 7th, as the bottom of the order will be too weak. Would you keep Millan or Hunt?
I canm cut Millan or Hunt and pick up a reliever(Perranowski), upgrade LF(Yaz?) or offer a trade of Millan and Hands for a stud SP.

Millan is not a lead off hitter. His on base is way to low for that. I would keep him over Hunt since a 2b 1 that can't be injured is better than a 2b 2 who is injury prone and can go down for 15 games. When I have Millan I set him for bunt more, don't ph for vs lefties, don't ph for vs righties. I bat him either 2nd. 8th, or 9th. Depending on DH league vs non dh league, and if I have a hitter I like better for the number 2 spot in the lineup.

O.K so your in my divison in this league....I'll still try to be impartial.

Keep Millan. The D is huge. Hunt gets hurt alot. That's the bottom line. Use the roughly 5 million you then have left and upgrade from Veale because he will get pounded.

Millan is solid. The only "1" 2B in the catalog and he can't get hurt. I checked my leagyes and he is always on a winning team. Obviously, other factors matter.

BUT - he is NOT a leadoff man. Bat him 7th or 8th (9th in a DH league).

Agree with Risden. I've had Milan twice and both team made the playoffs. However, offensively he was a dog but I had enough offense in both cases to cover for him. I would not hit him leadoff, I think he is better suited for 2nd or the bottom of the order.
