so just to make sure I understand things, these franchises are now locked in as the 12 we're using for all 12 seasons? And we'll just rotate through all of them to give each person a turn with the particular franchise right?

Almost.

1) We now move to Round 2 which needs the TYPE A Franchises to be put in reverse order of their draft position. They now pick in serpentine order for 2 rounds. All players not on an A Team may be selected providing their eligible.

If a player is selected off of a B Franchise no more players from that team may be picked. All Franchises not in the draft are open.

However, if during the draft 2 a player is taken from a B Franchise the manager of that Franchise may elect to take an open Franchise but all players taken up to that point are the property of the drafting team.
