Bob, may I suggest that when we are waiting for someone, you should post it on the main message board. Right now you could tell Mike we are waiting for him to make the first selection on his home field.

We have two proposals for the auction method. Please summit your votes. Call them Standard, and Snake method. Majority rules.

I think that if I understand it, mjruths draft idea might really be a good one. I think it might even speed things up. Say player 1 puts an opening bid of 10 mill on Ruth. Then player 2 can up the bid or pass. Once you pass you are out of the running for said player. So after going through once there might be 4 teams left bidding on Ruth. Then you could start back at team 1 again and he can either bid higher or pass, and so on.

As for my team name; I'll go with Canadian Back Bacon.
