1. pick your franchise, pick your park among the parks your franchise played in.

2. 130 mil salary cap. you do not have to maintain 70 mil in the bank. however, your team salary can never go over 130 mil cap.

3. the NYY are not available to be chosen as a franchise. NYY players are only available after we select our franchises, and then there will be 2 round snake draft. that way we all can have any 2 of their players through out history. i know this leaves a lot of them on the board, but hey it's a franchise league.

4. you can add and drop players from your franchise as long as your team does not surpass their payroll of 130 mil. however, after the initial draft of NYY players all undrafted NYY players are off limits for the duration of the season.

5. trades are allowed as long as the player that you keep on your roster played for your franchise at some point in their careers. i would like for us to think of our unused franchise players as our minor leagues, available for call up or trade regardless of roster status. this could be bad or it could open people up to trying 3 team trades in certain situations. which i think could be interesting. unfortunately trading is a dying art in strat i feel. i see less and less of them. i am also open to discussion on this as well. i would like trades to remain an option, but w/ franchise restrictions.

Joking aside, how does the randomization work? Does TSN have a source for this or was it done through another site?

I'm still in the old school using pick 3 lotto numbers while technology has obviously passed me by yet again!

This is where sd had it run - by a third party via post back on the other thread. I have never used this myself, but it must work. Even though I am last still..... Which does suck in a franchise league!

Steven...not a good idea to start adding and/or changing rules AFTER everyone has signed up and the draft has started....speaking from experience... :)
