I assumed we have times when the clock is off.

Given your schedule though it won't work, I agree and that is out.

We really need the input of everyone as we need to set up a system that works with everyones schedules to some extent.

As I have stated in previous messages, this group seems like a dedicated group that would keep things running at a good clip, and because of this would eliminate many of the TIME problems associated in what we are attempting to accomplish.

Perhaps I am wrong in this assumption. It is troubling to me that we still have not had all managers name their teams and we are STUCK on 1, for the number of teams who have selected their home park. Bogged down on such a simple process = not good.

Yes Mr. Baseball World, I agree. We do need input from everyone.

As for my schedule, I probably have the most flexible schedule of anyone. I am usually day trading stocks from my home and on the computer each and every day.

So, I will adhere to what works best for everyone else.

Occassionally I do watch Judge Judy and Doogie Howser MD, and involved in my cattle and sheep auctions, but I can find a way around them.

That's funny, I was watching Judge Judy today and Doogie Howser was on and he was charged with illegal Cattle auctioning.

we have to remember too that this league is called "SUMMER LEAGUE" for a reason.

I know that it has to run at a pace a little faster than a snails, and that's why I say that if someone doesn't make a bid or pass within 24 hours of a bid starting, then they would be out.

I agree. On the auction that used to be on somdraft, a bid wasn't final until 24 hours passed with ANYONE bidding. Those got finished in less time than we are planning for(though many more auctions were going at once). Patience is needed.

There's no way this would work. What if the bidding starts at 10:00 PM? So if no one makes a bid by 4 AM then they're all out? And then if you make a bid at 10 PM and don't make another by 1 AM then you're out??

Like I said before, I go to bed by 10 PM, go to work at 5 AM (with no internet access) and get home usually around 3 PM. That's 17 hours at a time away from the computer. If we go with anything with less of a time period then I'll have to bow out.[/quote:b4b3c42871]

This statement is valuable. We have found our 12 willing participants, now let us arrange things so that all 12 are able to play!
