I tend to agree that we shouldn't do anything that wasn't talked about or decided before we started. I wouldn't have known that Baker played for the Cubs or that TSN made a mistake with his card if it hadn't been brought up here. If the group decides that he is eligible as a Cub, then I will probably pick him up. Like I said I have only one 2b on the team and it's Zimmer. I don't think having Baker on this team will make or break my chance at a ring..there isn't much difference between Baker and Zimmer except a 3 and 2 defensively. I have the space on the team and have about 5 MIL left that I couldn't spend. Not a big deal to me whether I get to pick him up or not. Don't want to ruffle feathers or cause ill will or corrupt the principles of the league. .....And, as far as a Cards fan managing the Cubs....the rivalry is one of the best in baseball and there is nothing better than going to a Cards/Cubs game...I have the greatest respect for Cubs fans and root for the Cubs whenever it doesn't immediately effect the Cardinals. Looking forward to this league and managing my pitiful group of players at Wrigley. GO CUBS!
