My concern with 500,000 is that we will have people budgeting for spending their money on their core players(maybe anywhere from 15-20 players) and then the minimum for the rest. Or will overspend and get to the minimum on the rest.
We could get to a point where 4 guys are left with spots open and 500,000 each to spend on whatever number of guys and whoever won the last bid will get to pick all his guys first since his 500,000 will automatically win all the bids. Probably won't happen but not sure since we have never done this. At 500,000 each, the more expensive the player for the most part the better the bargain and we will all be seeking like or similar bargains.
I do however like the bargain potential. What if we went with a % but made it low.......maybe 10%(or lower). a & million dollar pitcher going for 700,000 is still a bargain and leaves us in a position where a wider variety of dollars will be saved with a wider variety of players sought
