MANAGEMENT DECISION

Postby rschwartz51 » Wed Feb 22, 2006 8:33 pm

Based on feedback received up to this point I feel that going with Pre-Determined Aligned Franchises is the option best served the participating managers.

There is 1 vote required:

Within this Thread are 2 options:

A) CATom option - Franchises aligned by salary cap with 1&12, 2&11, etc.
You can go back and find it.

B) Bobschwartz option - Similar to CATom but variations made to align Franchises based on geography or key players having foundation with base franchise, ie; Atl & Stl - J. Torre, Cinn & Hst - J. Morgan

CATom option is fine by me

Start another thread asking for 3 Managers but post the OFFICIAL rules so they know what they are getting into. No more changes after that, PLEASE. :)

Post the final rules and I will try to join (you'll at least know if I am in or out in the next day or so). I neglected to sign up at first because I had some work commitments that were getting in the way of a quick start, but since the league has been slightly delayed, I may be available.

I'm in a few other combo-type leagues with this core of owners and I like the personalities and the competition.

Why no trading?

I just got access again, and haven't even looked at the pairings, but it seems that allowing use of unused players could only help the weaker combos. That was the original premise... just re-alignment of combos was needed.

Response to NOVIE

Postby rschwartz51 » Thu Feb 23, 2006 4:41 pm

Regarding Trading - This went back and forth. Some managers indicated a preference towards no trading or FA's keeping it simple as possible. There were others that were for Trading.

I don't see a strong preference either way from the group and I simply went with where the majority of emphasis pointed towards.

If there are a more managers wishing to trade than managers with an objection I would go along with your suggestions as to handle it.

I did want to get this finalized as I was detecting from the crowd that it was time to close our rules out.
