A stick? <rimshot>

groan :P

Wilhelm makes an interesting pick. A stretch for a lot of teams to find value in a 5.63 RP, but here and cheaper? Well done IMHO, MBW.

(Now watch the bidding go to over $6m  )

Interesting start!
We've finally knocked the first five guys off the board, and in the meantime Pete Alexander was nominated and won before three of those first five.
So now we have Cobb, Ruth, Lajoie, Wilhelm, and Eckersley to bid on. And one of them could be gone before I wake up in the morning.

Fun fun!

Reminder: I have made a Web page with our team names, manager names (linked to profiles), ballparks (linked to ballpark TSN-SOM), etc., plus have linked my Excel spreadsheet for download. I will update that ss at least once a day.

Unless I've made a mistake, I picked up Frisch for 8.6 .
Not complaining at all, mind you, thanks for the effort you put into the site.

yes, thanks Palanion for all your hard work. This really is a fun league, but I think, due to financial difficulties I'm going to have to contract my team .... Oh wait, I don't have anyone on my team!!! I haven't even made a bid yet!! Still waiting for Buck to be put on the block.

You have to win an auction to get that accomplished.
