Idanred did win Eckersley for 5.3M shortly before midnight.

There have been two bids for Ruth since midnight, BUT Ruth was officially not bid for 24 hours, at 22:36, before these two recent bids. Thus...

bkeat23 is awarded Babe Rute for 15.8
bkeat23 can now nominate a new hitter for bid.

I (Palanion) was awarded Lajoie at 9:39 this morning.

I am nominating Ralph Kiner. I bid 4.0M Come on vultures. We thought Maddux was a frenzy...

Thanks fo rkeeping track Palanion, I hadn't noticed the clock ran out on Ruth.

Just put up Mantle for $3Mil. I need a cheap CF.

the clock hadn't run out on Ruth, he made a mistake. shouldn't have closed at 15.8 but what are you going to do. For the record, there's a 16.0 at 06:32 on Jan 16 by Bkeat then at 00:34 on Jan 17 there's a 16.1 by Ldanred. Ruth should still be in play.

Man, I thought I was being really careful in trying to get that right.

What should we do? Should we take Mantle off the block and put Ruth back on? bkeat made a bid for Ruth at 00:56 on 1/17 for 16.2.

My suggestion is that Mantle is on hold. If bkeat still wins Ruth, then the Mantle bidding can restart, but if someone else wins Ruth, and nominates someone other than Mantle, then the Mantle bidding is void.

But where is Ruth on the clock?

Trying to be fair.

I think we can keep them both active since they are still going. I do think for sure we sure open Ruth up. We could keep them both going and just not start a new guy after Ruth closes since that is Mantle. Once Matle clears, then we'll do a new player and be back to 5.

And don't sweat it. It is a far easier job for me to come in and spot a mistake than to keep everything straight as it's going.

And I really, really want to see someone blow more than 20% of their payroll on Ruth.

Seems like Christenson is the only player up that has no bids today, so he's the only one that can come off the board, pending another bid.
