Playoffs?

Heck, I need to get my teams on the field. I feel disrespected or so says Joey Porter.

So, my wife has been kind enough to have purchased a few credits for me.

For now, I'm sitting on draft cards in 1969 and 2005 seasons.

I have one team drafting in the 80s - I'm sure I'm the training aid for this public league (hunter turned hunted).

Otherwise, I'm gaming for one public auto draft. I seek an honest chance to get 2005's version of Pedro Feliz. :D

Sorry I haven't been on much lately. Just burnout on strat/trying to recharge/trying to get a job. Speaking of which, I have an interview on Wednesday with a local Honda dealer to become a car salesman, not my first choice for a profession, but it will pay the bills (eg strat teams, ratings book etc.) Wish me luck fellas. If all goes well, I should be gainfully employed by the time the new season launches. It will probably be different for me as far a drafting ability goes though so have patience.

Good luck Niners - at least you'll be hawking a good product, right?

Semp - love those pics, I wish our Super Bowl party had not been coed so we coulda turned on the lingerie bowl at halftime!

I am still up for another 2005 go-round if we get the critical mass....

Cleveland Announces its Broadcast Team

Postby Semper Gumby » Thu Feb 23, 2006 2:39 pm

Former Cleveland Tribe center fielder [b:2d271c04ce]RICK MANNING[/b:2d271c04ce] returns for his 2nd full season as color commentator for Semper Gumby's Cleveland team along with the usual pin-up / Flav of the week girl.

Manning began his professional baseball career with the Cleveland Indians as the #1 selection in the 1972 June draft. 8 1/2 years of his 13-year major league career were spent in Cleveland (1975-1983) where he won a Gold Glove in 1976 for his fielding prowess. During three of those Cleveland seasons, he patrolled outfield for Semper Gumby's SoM team. :D

In other team news, Semper Gumby will attemp to re-plant his tree lawn this Spring as Ms. Gumby killed the grass during Mr. Gumby's absence. "Honey, it's why we had a sprinkler system installed many years ago!"

Haven't heard a thing.

Just a reminder, I'm unavailable next week due to vacation (3/11 thru 3/19)

If the new cards come out (during those dates) and yall are anxious to begin drafting feel free to let AT assume my spot. Otherwise, see yall when I get back.
