Cubit Honorary Pre-Card Draft

Postby PossibleJohn » Wed Feb 22, 2006 3:52 pm

Glad to see you here, Tom. Throw Leehaak into this draft, and we could call it 2001 all over again. The wife and I moved back from Denver to Detroit three years back, and we're still here. Just can't stay away from this wasteland. It's home. And you--any traveling lately?

haven't heard from Leehawk in a LONG time! Robert (swphysic//robvoz) is still around. Haven't done much traveling - went to Vegas last year and met a few of the ATG guys (had a great time). We had alota good leagues & times in the "ol days  You were in the league with Curt Schilling, weren't you? Remember making alot of trades with you!

Good to have ya here!!!!!

Tom.

Yeah, I was in the league with Schilling. I forgot all about that. I remember now that night he got grumpy about the game engine spitting out results "that would never happen in real life." I also remember him calling Scott Schoenweis "Schoenwuss" and then praising the defense, fundamentals, work ethic, etc., of Craig Counsell.

funny he really got "demanding" when i drafted his card (renegotiate, certain parks, ect) :) tried to trade me Vizquel for ARod and when i declined he didn't talk to me to much more  Think we'll have a good league HERE!

Man, that brings back memories. I can't believe a had a winning record, much less a championship. I think that's one of two for me.
