Then...when the frenzy goes off around 12:09am Sat. morning, dump all that dead weight, take all the money you have and rush to the FA wire, and try and put together your team with the 11 other managers scrambling like madmen to do the same thing! It was alot of fun. Nothing like clicking Yes on player after player only to find out someone had beaten you to him by a millisecond!!!! :evil: :evil: :D

We had predetermined draft lists to use though. I think either treyomo or Munich_Man had the lists.

I did this in ATGI. We had 12 pre-approved scrub rosters that everyone agreed on before the draft and made sure there was nobody on any of the teams that anyone else might consider owning. I brought this up again for ATGII but never followed through on it.

Treyomo was going to come up with some rosters, being the spreadsheet/database maniac that he is. I never followed up on it, so you may want to check with him.

I believe there is a $40 mil minimum requirement for $80 mil teams.

I tell you what, this was about the most fun you can have with your pants on!! :D

This sounds like a great idea. i'll have to bring this up with the chief accountant before i sign up. ps....i don't get Munich Mans last comment. i frequently play strat with no pants on. Am i alone in this? :?

I just so happen to have been thinking about this, and have a spreadsheet set up for just the thing. Every roster is around 70M, within 1M of each other, has 2 catchers and 10 pitchers and 13 pieces of garbage. There's a few debatable names, but you just need the gentleman's agreement that you drop every player on your team, even if they are marginally usable. I'll post rosters if you guys are interested.

Put me down as a tentative, depending on the day. This was really a fun, wild league. It depends on when it takes place, though, if I can make it. I would have to crawl out of bed early for this, and I will be travelling quite a bit. I'm gone for a week starting Friday the 3rd (golf vacation in Tunisia :D ) and I have to go to London on Thursday, so it would have to be before Tues US time or after the 10th for me to participate.
