My team, the Giant E.R.A.s, can't even fill up a $100M roster thanks to the dearth of pitching. Therefore, I will have the best dedicated pinch hitters ever - McCovey from the left, Cepeda from the right. 8)

I ran into that problem last time when I had the 46 Red Sox and the 46 Cardinals. I had to use Catfish Metkovich as my DH! Probably should come as no surprise the team won 79 games.

Have to decide if '29 A's and 90 A's present too many matchup problems or not.

Hhhhmmm. Lots of left handed pitching in the west. Which I'm sure is fine with the '09 Pirates/'80 Expos.

If only the '65 Dodgers had just a little more hitting. If only the '46 Cards had some quality RH pitching.

The LH pitching in the West makes the '90 A's too compelling. The '87 Cards are close, but not enough pitching. Walt Weiss....

Nothing like having several choices for the last pick. The '83 O's give me Murray and Ripken. The '87 Cards give me Ozzie and Clark. But trying to come up with a reason to not take the '46 Cards and Stan the Man and all that pitching, could not come up with one. So the '46 Cards it is.

The quicker we can get our teams entered, the better. TSN will be doing some MAJOR site work tonight and there is always the chance that their work will run late.

I would say, if we can get loaded quicker, let's do it.
