Rookie to Stratomatic

Don't wait too long. If you are dropping anyone you need to do it pronto so you don't take the 20% hit.

Here is the team after a few changes today.

Any more would help. I have until 10 p.m. tonight before the league starts.

Don't know if it's be said or not.

I count the divisional pitchers of each team. See how many LHSP's and RHSP there are.
Then see how many right and lefty bats there are on each team.

This will help you when you are putting your team together.

I think you need a better lefty or 2 in your rotation. Miller, I see like a Shea park. You need to shut down the lefty power bats.

If there are a few divisional teams with some lefty bats, you need to grab lefty SP's. Sabathia will not do. I prefer Alvarez over Sabathia anyway.

I also think you need better RP than what you have. Rodriquez and Marte are the same. Marte is better though.

Lefties available

Postby kalkranz » Mon Sep 12, 2005 2:51 pm

The left handed starters in my league, are pretty slim. Some have *'s but I was told earlier in the thread to not combine more than 2 pitchers with *'s with non * pitchers. So here is the list

Joe Kennedy
Ron Villone
Dontrelle Willis *
Nate Robertson *
Mike Maroth *
Washburn
Hampton
Hendrickson
Kenny Rogers *
Fassero
Reuter *
Zito *
Ishii

How many lefty bats are on each team?

I agree with what's been said BUT if you are going to see alot of lefties, you need another *LHSP.

Out of these lefties I like: (for *SP's)
Willis
Robertson
Maroth

Non *SP's:
Villone
Kennedy

Not listed:
Halama
Lee
Capuano
Dubose

Lefties in lineup

Postby kalkranz » Mon Sep 12, 2005 3:10 pm

It looks like 2 of the teams in my division have 4 left handed hitters in their lineup, and the third has 2.

IMHO,

I think you need a lefty *SP in your rotation or at the very least a cheap non *SP.

What parks are in your division?

Your BP still needs help.
