I love the idea of a Medwick/Brock platoon.

I'm sorta bummed about picking McGwire. As I look back, a lot of my picks could have gone differently... :roll:

Something that I hadn't considered. Should we expand the draft to 27 rounds? If we draft 25, we'll have to do 15 hitters and 10 pitchers. Then I guess a frenzy is the fairest way to go after the remaining players.

I'd prefer to go ahead and draft 27 rounds and have rights to those players until a specified time (perhaps until after waivers claims have run). This way, we could all assemble our 27 man rosters and be free to add and drop at a uniform time without priority to anyone based on when they enter the league.

Any thoughts?

I've never tried expanding the draft after it's been setup on Penn's site. Is this something that can be done without engaging Penn? It might be more trouble than it's worth.

As for whether or not it [i:f1b48be1e7]should[/i:f1b48be1e7] be done, I really don't care. There will be a ton of hitters and pitchers available. These are not make or break players, just role fillers.

Just make it frenzy...coordinating who owns whom and adjusting penn's draft is just a recipe for disaster, IMO.

I suppose you are right. We'll frenzy and that'll be that.

So...make sure everyone drafts 10 pitchers and 25 hitters.

Can we agree (or at least be forewarrned) in advance as to when the frenzy will occur?

In a recent league the 12th guy waited several days to post his team only to post it at 11:50 one night with no warning. The frenzy hit and nobody was around. :evil:
