Don't want to sound like an arse, but I don't wish the 36th pick to be a stadium pick. The 36th should be the opening round of the non 2007 carded players. Now, if it's 35 +1, and then reverse order for rounds 1 through 5 in the 08 draft, than all is good.

This reads to me like there are 35 rounds, then, when 2008 comes out, we have another 5 rounds. But round 36 is the stadium picks, leaving round 37 as the first option for 08 cards. And if we continue in Serpentine order, that leaves Mike with not only pick #1 in the standard draft, but also the supplemental. Am I reading this wrong, or was Mike in error in how he wrote it?

I think you are understanding it correctly. Seems unfair to me. Why don't we just do the stadium draft after the 35+5 rounds are completed?

35 rounds 5 supplimental rounds, and 1 stadium pick.

I think regardless of the stadium draft whether we do it now or later, the first pick of the new cards is #12 of the initial free agent draft, and lets not over complicate it.
