Know When To Hold 'Em (Keeper League)

Postby thegrayman » Mon Feb 20, 2006 6:39 am

Looks like all we need is Geekor and we're ready to roll. Still would like to see some cards b4 deciding on final cuts though.

Hi thegrayman,

We won't be making any cuts until the new cards are out online that way everyone has a chance to see the cards and decide who they want to keep.

Cool. 8) How long will we have to make our cuts? I think we should decide this prior to the cards coming online to avoid any confusion down the line. I would like a week, but will work with what we decide as a group. Can't wait to see the new cards. :D

All I know is that I get the first pick, only team to lose 100 or more games.

I would agree with a week time period. That sounds fair to me.

Also, I might need help, is there a limit to the number (as in minimum) of keepers. I do not remember

No restrictions on # of players kept. Standard 80 mil w/DH league.

My sight unseen preliminary pre-salaried choices:

Oswalt
Marquis(maybe)
Myers
Sheilds
Rincon
Grybowski(if he gets an ATL card)

I-Rod
Casey
A-Rod
Lugo
Kotsay
Abreu
Burnitz

Hi Hooner11,

The splinter is right you can keep as many or as few players as you wish. I was looking through my notes and I think we used the one week time limit in the past for looking at the cards and I think we should use it again. What about the not using the clucth rating? I would vote for not using the clucth rating for the league.
