I also finaly have found this spot at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Greetings to all!
The Marauditors like the idea of going with a dollar amount limit on the keeper players, although we could live with the 10 player limit I believe. What we are wondering is what about the future? Are there 'time limits" on the number of seasons a player can be retained by a team? I am relatively new to this format for Strat-O-Matic baseball (and have found out that I don't know as much as I thought I did actualy), but in rotissary leagues I have played in there was ususaly a three season limit on a players lifetime with a team. That way there is always hope for the future for all teams as every player becomes a free agent and up for bids at fairly regular intervals. It does not have to be only three seasons, but some limits seem to be reasonable........
Other thoughts on the idea????????????????
By the way, again with limited experience, I think Tim Orz has it right (Sci-fi influence or not). I don't know that the results would be differant, but this sure as heck does appear to me to be a huge statistical experiment I have walked into, but that is what makes it fun.
Looking forewared to continuing the experience!
